upon the Sixteenth day of August then next following wee
did prorogue untill the thirteenth day of Aprill last past wch
said Assembly upon the three and twentieth day of March
last past wee did prorogue untill the Seaventh day of Sep-
tember last past, Which upon the Eighteenth Day of August

last past wee did prorogue until the second day of November
last past, and from thence by Proclamation beareing date the
Sixth Day of October last past wee did prorogue the same
untill the ffifth Day of Aprill now next ensueing, Which said
ffifth Day of April on wch the said Generall Assembly should
sitt being now neere at hand & noe urgent occasions or Affaires
relateing to the state or wellfare of this our Province appeare-
ing for the conveeneing and sitting of our sd Generall Assem-
bly on the said ffifth day of Aprill, Wee have Determined and
ordeined, And wee Doe hereby fully resolve Determine and
ordeine that the said generall Assembly be further prorogued
untill the Eleaventh Day of October which shall be in the yeare
of our Lord God One Thousand Six hundred Eighty and One,
And we Doe hereby will and require as also strictly charge
and command all and Singular the Sheriffes of this our Pro-
vince forthwith upon Receipt hereof to make Proclamacon
hereof in the most publick and convenient places within their
respective Counties, and to give notice to all and Singular the
Delegates & Deputies by the ffreemen of their County already
elected or for that purpose to be elected that (all excuses sett
apart) they and every of the said Delegates come and psonally
appeare at the sd City of St Maries on the sd Eleaventh Day
of October last mentioned to doe and consent to those thinges
which then and there by the favor of God shall happen to be
ordeined by us by and with the Advice & consent of our
greate Councill of this our Province concerning the state and
wellfare of this our Province, And also to give notice to such
of our Councill as Inhabit in their respective Counties that
(all excuses sett apart) they also be and appeare at the Day &
place aforesaid in the Upper house of our sd Generall Assem-
bly to the End & purpose aforesaid. Given at our City of St
Maries under the greate seale of our sd Province of Maryland
the Eight and twentieth Day of ffebruary in the Sixth yeare of
our Dominion &c. Annoq Dmi One Thousand Six hundred
