 32 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1671-1675.
Lib. R. R. two of or Councill there who are hereby Respectively Im-
powred and Required to Administer the same unto him accord-
ingly Provided also that he the said William Calvert shall
from time to time & at all times pmit and suffer our Trusty
& welbeloved Kinsman John Darnel gentl peaceably &
quietly to hould Enjoy & Execute the place or office of Clerke
of Calvert County Court in of said Province of Maryland
Together with the proffits thereunto belonging according to
the purport Effect & True meaning of or Graunt of the said
office of Clerke of Calvert County Cort to the said John
Darnell gentl by or Comission undr or hand and greater seale
at Armes bearing Date the fourth day of December in the
42th yeare of our Dominion ovr or sd Province of Maryland
any thing herein Conteyned to the Contrary in any wise
notwithstanding. Given undr or hand and greater Seale at
Armes the Tenth day of December in the 42th yeare of or
p. 24 Dominion ovr the said Province of Maryland Annoq Domini
1673.

Then was the within named William Calvert Esqr sworne
his Lopps Principall Secretary of this Province according to the
Tenor of the within written Comission before me.
