Thomas Penroy the possession of the said Vessell to dispose
of her at the will and pleasure of the said Thomas Penroy the
said Thomas Penroy giveing Security by bills of Exchange
And also good security for the payment of such bills of
Exchange as he shall draw or good & Sufficient mens bills
of this Province for the true payment of all such wages as are
due unto the Seamen for navigating the said Ketch

[Prorogation of Assembly.]

Maryland ss. By the Lord Propry A Proclamacon
Whereas for seaverall weighty and Urgent occasions and
affaires Relateing to our self and the State and defence of
this our Province Wee did hold a Genll Assembly att the Citty
of St Maryes the ffifteenth day of May in the first yeare of our
Dominion &c Annoq Domini 1676 wch for divers Considera-
cons us thereunto moveing wee did by seaverall Prorogacons
Continue & Prorogue the same untill the 20th day of October
then next Ensueing woh said Assembly the fifteenth day of
November then next following wee did prorogue untill the
second Tuesday in May then next following, wch upon the
fourteenth day of March then next Ensueing wee did Pro-
rogue untill the last Tuesday in September then next Ensue-

ing. Wch upon the sixteenth day of August then next follow-
ing wee did Prorogue untill the thirteenth day of Aprill wch
should bee in the yeare of our Lord god 1680, wch said Assem-
bly upon the three and Twentyeth day of March last past wee
Did prorogue untill the seaventh day of September on wch
the said Generall Assembly should sitt being now near at
hand, and Noe Urgent Occasions or affaires Relateing to the
state or welfaire of this our Province appeareing for the Con-
vening and sitting of our said Genll Assembly on the said
Seaventh day of September Wee have by and wth the advice
& Consent of our Councell Determined and Ordained, & Wee
doe hereby fully Resolve Determine & ordaine that the said
Genll Assembly bee Prorogued untill the second day of Novem-
ber Now next Comeing, & wee doe hereby will and Require
as also strictly Charge and Comand All and singuler the
Sheriffes of this our Province forthwth Upon Receipt hereof
to make Proclamacon hereof with most Convenient places
wthin their Respective Countyes, and to give Notice to all
and singuler the Delegates & Deputyes by the ffreemen of
their County already Elected or for that purpose to bee
