In Maryland the proving of a will by Coffion comes to 332
To wch is to be added 16l p side for Recording wills Invento-
ryes &c according to the length of thm settled in the act for
Secretaryes ffees.
And if the wilbe proved at the office without Coffion it Comes
to besides 16l p side 232

On the back side of the aforesayd list of ffees was thus
written (viz)
Memd that the within Docket of ffees was allowed of by
his Exclly Charles Calvert Esqr being in prsent in Coll Wm
Calvert Esqr Jesse Wharton Esqr & Thomas Truman Esqr on
the 26th of June 1673 Charles Calvert

Province of Maryland undr the Right honoble Cecil Lord Bal-
temore absolute Lord and Proprietary of the same To Capt
Thomas Howell of the County of Baltamore in the said Prov-
ince of Maryland gentl Greeting Whereas his most Excellent
Maty Charles the first (of blessed memory) King of England
Scotland ffrance and Ireland defender of the faith &
did by his Letters Patents under the greate Seale of Eng-
land bearing date the 20th day of June in the Eighth yeare of
his Majestyes Reigne and in the yeare of our Lord One
Thowsand six hundred thirty Two graunt unto the said Lord
Proprietary this Province of Maryland according to the bounds
in the said Letters Patents mentioned and Expressed, wherein
his said Maty of blessed memory specefyeth the bounds of the
said Province to Extend to the Seaborde side and Delaware bay
to the fortieth degree of Northerly latitude, and for that the
said Lord Proprietary hath lately Erected a County on the
said Seaborde side at a place called the Horekeele and called
it by the name of Worcester County which said County was
inhabited by several psons who had taken the oath of fidellity
