any difference should arise hereafter betwixt us & you & yor
Indians, we desire that we might give one another Satis-
faccon, & not imediatly to fall in warr, doe give three beavers.
3. We doe lett you know, that there are of our foure Cas-
tles of the Sinnekes out a fighting against the Susquehannes
You may therefore warn your Indians that there may be no
injuries or damages done hereafter, & so to continue the
peace, doe give two beavers.

They say, we doe absolutely approve of that which the
Onnondages have now said, calling them their ffathers as they
doe likewise the Christians of this Government, & are willing
& ready to obey the comand of the great King Charles, who
liveth over the great Lake, meaning our Sovereigne Lord the
King of great Brittaine & doe prsent a belt of Zewt
2. We doe recommend that you will take care (as we shall
on our parts) that the proposicons you made yesterday be
punctually observed There is formerly one of our Indians
wounded by you, which occasioned our plundering of your
houses. Wee must also acknowledge that we have killed
some hoggs & beasts to eat when we were a hungry, but
never to have killed any Christians, doe present two Otters.
3: Wee are now come together to make the Covenant, &
doe againe absolutely approve of that which the Onnondages
have done; but doe lett you know that there are twenty of
our Indians gone out to fight against the Indians of your
Nation we desire that if they doe any harm, that itt may be
excused this tyme, because itt is unknown to them And if we
for the future after our people are come home shall use any
hostility that way, then you may think we doe not according
to our promise, but we are not so minded, doe give two
bevers.
