Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to Isaac
Harris half a Faggot of Steel: Also 84 Musquets to be
repaired.
Adjourned till 3 O'Clock and met accordingly.

Copy of Letter N^o 44 was sent to Barton Harris Esq^r Chair-
man of the Committee of Observation for Worcester County,
and Copy of N^o 45 to the several Committees of Observation
on the Eastern Shore.
Ordered that a warrant be made out agreeable to a Resolu-
tion of Convention to Lemuel Barret Esq^r appointed Captain
of the Rifle Company to be raised in Frederick County, and
that warrants be made out, agreeable to a Recommendation
from the Committees of Observation for Frederick County to
Peter Contee Hanson 1 Lieut. James Lingan 2^d Lieut. and
Richard Dorsey 3^d Lieut. of said Company.
Ordered That the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
the officers of the said Company 860 Dollars in the propor-
tions herein before mentioned for Bounty for the said Com-
pany.
That the Treasurer of the said Shore pay to William
Smyly for the Committee of Observation for Worcester
County One hundred and fifty pounds common money.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Brice ten pounds Cur-
rency, the same to be deducted out of William Niven's Account
against the public for not enrolling agreeable to the Resolu-
tions of Convention.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Brice ten pounds on
Account of Thomas Wilson.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. John Boone forty five
Shillings and eight pence for a Guard out of his Company to
watch the motions of the Fowey.
M^r Carroll has Leave of Absence.
Ordered That the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
James Tilghman Esq^r three hundred Pounds for the Purchase
of Fire Arms and one hundred Pounds for the Purchase of
Blankets the same to be lodged with the Committee of
Observation for Queen Ann's County for those Purposes.
Ordered That the Company of Militia belonging to the
South River Battalion now on Duty in the City of Annapolis
be discharged.
Copies of Letter N^o 46 were sent to the several Committees
of Observation for the Counties nn the Western Shore respec-
Lively.
