That the said Treasurer pay to Elisha Winters three hun-
dred and twenty four pounds fifteen shillings and six Pence.
That the said Treasurer pay to Elisha Winters for Thomas
Smyth Esquire five hundred Pounds.
That the said Treasurer pay to Mr William Spear two hun-
dred and sixty five Pounds.
That the said Treasurer pay William Allein one hundred
and ninety seven pounds twelve shillings and two Pence.
Permit granted to Thomas Robinson Master of the Schooner
Adventure to go to Eustatia, he having given Bond and lodged
manifest.
Ordered That Messrs William Spear, Thomas Harrison and
Jesse Hollingsworth or any two of them be requested to view
and examine the linen manufactured by Messrs Archer and
Harris of Harford County, for the use of this State, and report
the valuation of the same to this Board.
Ordered That the Paymaster pay James Oharra of Capt.
Ramsey's Company for six month's Duty, to the eighteenth of
this Instant inclusive; and that the said James Oharra be
thenceforth discharged from the Service of this State.
Copy of Letter No 53 was sent to Thomas Smyth Esquire,
Copy of No 54 to the Committee of Frederick County, Copy
of No 55 to Thomas Stone Esquire, and Copy of No 56 to
Thomas Johnson Esq.
Adjourned till next Day 10 O' Clock.

Sir. We received yours of the 9th instant; are sorry we
have it not in our power to supply the people with that neces-
sary article Salt, but are in hopes they may shortly supply
themselves, as vessels are daily arriving at Baltimore with that
article.
We are offered Beef upon much more reasonable Terms
than 4 d. p lb, therefore would not have you contract for any
further quantity, unless you can purchase at thirty Shillings
p hundred.
As we are not acquainted with the people of your Town,
shall be obliged if you will procure some proper person to
receive the arms and accoutrements from the soldiers of the
Flying Camp, any reasonable charge for his trouble shall be
paid. We have sent you by Mr Winters the sum of three
hundred pounds, with the two hundred and fifty before sent, is
to be laid out in the purchase of provisions, upon rendering
your Acct whatever Balance appears to be due to you shall
be paid
