or aiding himself any support, let alone any subsistance for
my two far absent infants, and without some relief and that
quickly they must inestimably perish. Likewise most Gracious
and considerate Gentlemen I am to inform you, that the person
with whom I left my poor infants, wrote me that I must go
down immediately in order to provide a living for my chil-
dren, as he was under the necessity of Going to Frederick,
Therefore most honourable Gentlemen I hope you will take
the low and deplorable condition of your poor Petitioners two
children's situation into your most serious consideration and
grant him some leave of absence, or other method to provide
for them, and your poor Petitioner shall ever be in duty bound
to pray.

Thursday, December 12, 1776.

Council met. Present as on yesterday. Mr Jenifer and Mr
Hall attended.
A Certificate of the Attendance of the Electors of the Senate
was laid before the Council: Ordered That the Treasurer of
the Western Shore pay the several Sums specified in the
same.
That the said Treasurer pay to Adam Fischer for the use of
George Whitebear and others twenty nine Pounds six Shil-
lings.
That the said Treasurer pay to William Lux, by Order of
Messrs Van Bibber & Harrison, four hundred Dollars, for the
use of John Parrott.
That the said Treasurer pay to Doctt Adam Fischer for the
use of Thomas Schley twenty Pounds five Shillings.
That the said Treasurer pay to Elizabeth Maw seventeen
pounds ten Shillings.
That the said Treasurer pay to Samuel Fischer thirty one
Shillings and six Pence.
That the said Treasurer pay to Messrs Daniel and Samuel
Hughs thirteen hundred and thirty four Pounds five Shillings
and a penny.
That the said Treasurer pay to Messrs Jenifer & Hooe seven
hundred and forty one Pounds six shillings and two Pence
three Farthings.
