Sir. We received yours of the 25th instant and herewith
send you Articles according to your request, and would have
you go on to secure your men as quick as possible. We have
heretofore wrote fully to Mr. Hollingsworth about the
Replevin, and yesterday we wrote Cap( Stone, and that we
should give security, so that you may be easy on that head ;
and take care to get in your lading with all convenient speed,
your commission is ready upon your coming down to give
bond in usual form.

who have letters of marque & reprizal

Sir Be pleased to examine the schooner Adventure belong-
ing to Messrs. Turnbull & Morriss, and advise us how she is
found, and what you think she may be worth, and if she will
suit our State to send out a Cargo in her to the West Indies.

Gentn Your Letter of the 19th insf we have received, and
in consequence thereof have given directions for marching
the Prisoners as soon as possible, in order that an exchange
may take place. We have likewise ordered the accounts of
expences incurred to be furnished us, and you may depend
upon their being transmitted to your board immediately after
we receive them.
