Sir.
You must fit out your vessel ready to take in her Cargo
with all the expedition in your power without lengthening of her
for this Voyage. Your being expeditious in this business as
well as for your diligence and care of your Cargo inwards
will be considered by the Council, and a Compensation will
be made to you.

Sir.
Your favour of the 31st we this moment received, the com-
missions you sent Capt. Smith for, were made out long ago
and delivered to Doctr Fisher. Duplicates we inclosed to
you last post, and are now making out Triplicates for Mr Smith
who will not trust to your having received them. Letters
from the Convention must have reached the Commissioners
ere this. Our Convention are still busy about its Plan of Gov-
ernment. When it will rise God knows.

Gentn
Capt. James Mackall requested of me to inform you, the
Gentn who was commissioned as 1st Lieut. in his company
is dead, that his 2nd Lieut. has resigned being a Noassociater,
and the men disapproving him. He therefore prays you will
issue a commission to Wm Macke as isl Lieut. Joseph Hill 2nd
Lieut, and John Thomas Ensign, and transmit them to me by
some safe hand. I am Gentlemen yr
