Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Nathaniel Stinchicomb
five pounds, five shillings for Boatage.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Thomas Shiles seven
Pounds four shillings for Amt of Acct
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Committee of Observa-
tion for Caroline County twenty five pounds, three shillings
and five Pence for Amt of Acct
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Captn Conway seventy
two Pounds, twelve Shillings for Amt of Acct
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Daniel Campbell three
pounds, ten shillings for a Gun.
Ordered That Eastern shore Treasurer pay to Captn
Greenby Goldsborough four hundred and sixty one Pounds,
one Shilling & nine Pence for and on Acct of his Company.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to said Goldsborough
fifty Pounds for Advance.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to Colo John
Ennalls twenty four Pounds, nineteen shillings & six Pence for
Amt of Acct
Copy of Letter No 177 was sent to Gerard Hopkins.
No 178 & 179, to Messrs Vanbibber & Harrison.
Commission of Captain Conway of Sloop Molly, as a Letter
of Marque.
Ordered That Western shore Treasr pay to Josh Nicholson
Esqr sixteen pounds, two shillings, for his Attendance in
Council of Safety.
Adjourned 'till next Day 10 oClock.

Sir. You are requested to sell at Vendue all the Flour you
have belonging to this State that you think unfit for Baking
into Bread.

[Council to Hopkins.]

To Mr. Gerrerd Hopkins Deputy Commissary
Sir We this Day gave an order to Captain Forrest to
receive from you one hundred Camp Kettles, we must request
that they may be put on Board the Defence's Tender, and
that by the same Vessell you'd send some Cannon Shott, and
that they may be sorted in the following manner, Vizt four
hundred of four pounders, four hundred of three pounders,
and two hundred of two pound Shot; and also Eighty six
Canteens with as many Priming Wires and Brushes.
10th September 1776
