Ordered That Capt. Armstrong deliver to Henry Carey the
Effects belonging to said Carey in his possession that he may
have an Opportunity of making Sale thereof, and that the
Schooner together with the negro Boy be retained subject to
the further Order of this Board, and that said Carey return
hither to receive the same.
The Council contract with Samuel Dorsey of Elk Ridge
for the making of Tents, double seamed at 17/ each, and
single ditto at 12/ each.
Ordered That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Samuel
Dorsey 30 pieces of Cruder and 2 lb. thread to be made into
Tents.
Copy of Letter No 114 was sent to Edward Parker and
Copy of No 115 to Messrs Archer & Harris.
Adjourned till 3 O'Clock & met accordingly.
Mr Carroll attended.
Ordered That the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
Benjamin Rumsey Esq. seventeen pounds ten shillings for 25
Days Attendance as a member of the Council.
That the said Treasurer pay Zachariah Gaither six Pounds
for two Musquets.
That the said Treasurer pay to Col. Josias Carvel Hall
Eleven hundred and twenty five Pounds to provide necessa-
ries for his Battalion; the same to be deducted out of their
Pay.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Young One hundred
and twenty five Pounds on account of his Company.
That the said Treasurer pay to William Wilkins three hun-
dred Pounds on Account of the Fortification.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Jacob Good seventy
five Pounds on Account of his Company.
That the said Treasurer pay to Henry Ovelman fifteen
pounds for Waggonage.
Copy of Letter No 116 was sent to Col. Ewing, and Copy
of No 117 to Mr Isaac Griest.
Ordered That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Capt,
Jacob Good 10 lb powder and Ball in proportion.
Ordered That Lieut. Col. Hyde have Arms delivered him
by the said Commissary for the three Companies to be sta-
tioned at Baltimore Town in proportion to what may be left
for the remaining six Companies.
Ordered That the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay tc
Lieut. Col. Hyde One hundred and fifty pounds on Account
Adjourned till next Day 10 O'Clock.
