[Morrow to Rumsey.]

Dr Sir. Charles Town July 28th 1776.
You'l oblige me much if you'l inform me by the return of
the post, whether I am appointed one of the Surgeons for the
Flying Camp or not, and if I am, how am I to be provided
with medicin &c
I have had an offer from the Northward but must confess I
rather chuse to go from Maryland, I therefore refus'd the offer,
untill I could have an answer from Annapolis. I some time
ago inclos'd to the Honle The Counsel of Safety, a recom-
mendation from Doctors Cadwallider, Bond and Shippin of
Philada should be glad if you would inclose it to me, as it will
cost me some trouble to obtain a seccond.
I am Sir, Your Hum Servt
David Morrow.

Original.

[Chamberlaine to Council.]

Gentlemen. Talbot County July 28th 1776.
When it was proposed to me that a Magazine should be
fixed in our county, I was told that a detachment from
the fourth Independant Company would be stationed there
