Also to Henry Wilison ]unr appd Captn of a Compy in same
Coty and same Battalion.

Also to John Daugherty appd Captn Francis Baker 1st Lt
Wm Marsh Cartrop 2 Lt & Jams Gibson Ensign of a Compy of
Militia in Talbot County belg to 4th Battalion.
Ordered That Treasurer of Western Shore pay to Captn
Peter Adams twenty three Pounds, nineteen shillings and six
Pence for making Clothes for his Compy
Ordered That Treasurer of Western Shore pay to Ensign
Benj. Chalmers three Pounds, thirteen shillings and seven
Pence, for Expences incurred in apprehending Alexr Ross.
Brigadier General Hooper having formed the following
Companies into a Corps, ordered that Commissions issue
agreeable to his Recommendation, as follow, to William
Travers appd Colonel, Daniel Falker Major, & Levin Parker
Qr Master of said Corps.
Also to Henry Lake appd Captn Levy Willen 1 Lt Luke
Robinson 2 Lt & John Todd Ensn of a Compy of said Corps.
Also to Matts Traverse appd Captn Jno Askom Travey 1 Lt
Alexa Tolly 2 Lt & Philip Ferguson Ensn of a Compy of said
Corps.
Also Captn McNemara's Compy heretofore commissioned,
& a fourth Compy consisting of 43 Men hereafter to be com-
missioned by spl License of the Committee of observation for
Dorcr County.
Ordered, That the Colonel and Major of said Corps rank as
Lieutenant Colonel and Second Major.
Ordered That Commissary of Stores at the City of Annapolis
deliver to Major Price 25 of the smallest Gun Locks imported
in Captn Tibbett for Mr White Riflemaker.
Ordered That Treasurer of Western Shore pay to Colo
Weems sixty four pounds, seven shillgs & nine Pence for Pay
of his Battalion, when on Duty.
Copy of Letter No 154 was sent to Committee of Safety of
No Carolina.
No 155 to Committee of Safety of Observation at Wilmington
in New Castle County.
Adjd till next Day.

Gentn We received yours of the 23rd April, inclosing List
of Prisoners to be safely kept in this Province, also List of
others to be conveyed to Pennsylvania. We have given the
necessary Orders on the Occasion; the Expences we shall
