The same day were the said Articles (mutat mutand drawn
& Counter signed by his Excellency the Govr of the one part
& Ochotomoquath Emperor of Pascattoway of the other part
in manner aforesaid
And also by Maquaughtah King of Mattawoman
And on the 14th day of October 1692: were the same
Articles agreed on & Counter signed by and Between his
Excellency the Govr of the one part & Daniel King of Poco-
moke on the other part in manner as before

At a Councill held at the City of St Marys
the 10th day of May Anno Dom 1693

Mr William Dent one of the Attorneys of the Provincial
Court humbly moves the Board that whereas he had been
formerly generally retained for Mrs Parker & being by a
special Order of this Board assigned as Council for Ioseph
Tilley against the said Parker he Cannot without scandall &
reflection to himself in the way of his Practice fairly Comply
therewith and humbly prays to be thereof acquitted and Dis-
charged Enquired of him whither he hath received any par-
ticular instructions relating to the pticular matter now in dis-
pute between the said Parties from the said Parker or hath
been any ways made Privy thereto he acknowledged he had
not & thereupon it is especially commanded him by this
Board to appear for the said Tilley as his Council & to pro-
ceed therein according to former Order of this Board

This Comes to advice your Excellency of my receipt of her
Majestys Directions unto me as Capt Gen & Govr of Pensyl-
vania & New Castle &ca to give assistance to the Province of
New York come by the way of Boston with the Inclosed
whereof I send you a Copy our Ships wherein I understand
the Letters Patents for that Government are not yet arrived
1 have likewise directions from the right honble the Lords of
the Treasury for supplying the Commissarys of the Squadron
of Ships Commanded by Sir Francis Wheeler & Land forces
