Authority & of good credit & reputation within this Govern-
ment by her false scurrilous & malicious Lying speeches &
reports Concerning them Contrary to the peace &ca & the
Laws in such Case made & provided whereby she hath ren-
dered her self incapable of giving any Evidence or testimony
for or against any person or in any matter or cause what-
soever civil or criminal in any Court of Record or otherwise
nor is any faith or credit to be given to any thing she saith in
such case, as is hereby straightly Charged & Commanded &
whereas the said Samuel her Husband hath Countenanced
aided & abetted the said Susanna in her wicked and lewd
practises aforesaid
Ordered that Capt Iohn Hammond One of their
Majestys Iustices of the Peace for Ann Arundell
County do forthwith by his precept to the Sheriff of
the said County to be directed Summon & Cause to
come before him the said Samuel & Susannah his
Wife & require of them Bond with two Sufficient able
Sureties in the sum of One Hundred Pounds Sterl
the principal & Fifty pounds Sterl a peice the Secur-
itys for their appearance at the next Provincial Court
before their Majestys Iustices there to answer the
Premises & what else shall on their Majestys Behalf be
Objected against them in the mean time to be of the
good behaviour Signed p

Produced & Ordered to be read to the Board these two
followg Letters from the Govr of Virginia (vizt)

Sir
This Day by Letter from Accomack I have an Accot that
the under Sheriff of Somerset County & others under pre-
tence of your Excellencys warrant in Maryland came into
Accomack County in this Government about the 20th Inst &

prevailing with a Simple Iustice there did take & Carry away
Edward Randolph Esqr Surveyor General of their Majestys
Customs in these parts whereupon by advice of their Majestys
Council this is by Express to desire your Excllcy to order the
said Edward Randolph forthwith to be returned to this Gov-
ernment from whence he hath been so Carried contrary to all
Rules of Government the Bearer Mr Iames Shurlock is sent
herewith to your Excellency from Virga April 27th 1693
