upon the several incurable imperfections of the information)
I cannot in conscience & according to my small Skill in the
Law choose but encourage him to, but do beleive that if your
Honour pleases to appoint a place & time this afternoon
where I may wait on you such proposals may be offered by
me as in all Likelyhood shall prove more for your Honours
Interest & my Clients ease tho not perhaps profit then the

your Honour thinks it convenient you may acquaint his ExcIlcy
herewith but having no Commission from Mr Luke of this
nature only believing that my advice may go far with him to
direct his designed appeal I do not desire he should know I
made any application to your Honour herein I would will-
ingly serve you both which of your Honours part you shall
find whenever Tryal is made by you of

Treasury with Copys of the above & all other papers inclosed
was also drawn out & directed to the right Honourable the

Inclosed we send you Packetts directed to the Right Honble
the Lords of the Treasury the Lords of the Committee of
trade & plantations and the Commissioners of their Majestys
Customs all under a flying Seal for your peruseal which we
recommend to your care after you have so done for closing up
& delivery as also to appear for us upon occasion in the
managemt thereof, & all other matters relating to this Gov-
ernment, this is only a repetition of former complaints
against Sr Thomas Lawrence & Mr Randolph who continue
Still & persevere in their insolent rude carriage & behaviour
towards this Govt to the Majestys great disservice & the dis-
