and Bounds thereof directing the last Line to be run its due
Course with its Parallel to reach the first Bounded Tree men-
tioned in the former Survey as in such cases hath been usual
and the constant Practise of the Lord Baltemores Councill for
Lands appointed & without which your Petitioner will be
wholly deprived of his just Right and Property according to
Conditions of Plantation fully Complyed with and always by
the Neighbourhood well known & taken to be your Peti-
tioners
And as in duty bound he shall pray &ca
The Petition granted and Ordered that Special warrant
issue forth of the Land Office for resurvey of the Land men-
tioned according to the true antient intended & designed
meetes and Bounds thereof not running with the Lines of any
other Land formerly surveyed or reserved for the Lord Balte-
mores use the Certificate of which resurvey to be returned to
this Board with all Convenient speed

Whereas Sir Thomas Lawrence Barro one of the Justices of
the Provinciall Court and of their Majesties' honorable Coun-
cill within this Province standeth charged with several high
crimes and misdemeanours by him committed and done in
contempt of their Majesties authority and the present Gov-
ernment thereby here established contrary to his Oath the
duty of his place and the trust reposed in him I Lionel Copley
Esq Capt: General and Governor in Chiefe of this their Majs
Province and Territory of Maryland by virtue of the power and
authority to me in and by their Majesties' Commission and
Instructions given and granted do hereby in their Majesties'
names summon and cite the said Sir Thomas Lawrence that
all excuses sett apart he be and personally appear before me
and their Majesties Councill att the Citty of St Marys on
Thursday the 17th day of Aprill next to answear the premisses
& what shall be then and there objected against him. In the
meane tyme I do alsoe by virtue of the power and authority
aforesaid at present dismiss and suspend the said Sir Thomas
Lawrence from being a Member of their Majs Councill and
one of the Justices of the Provinciall Court aforesaid or in any
other part of the Province, and likewise strictly charge and
command him to desist from further presuming to act or
officiate as Publick Notary and as such from making or sign-
ing any Instrument within this Province, for any matter or
thing whatsoever anyways relating thereto as he hath already
illegally done whereof lett him take due comizan thereof in
