ment upon the Inhabitants with a Stay of Execution and not to
lay the same till further Ordrs
Ordered that Coll Ninion Beal of Calvert County do afford
all necessary aid and assistance to Collo Nicholas Greenberry
and all other Persons concerned in the erecting and setting
up the Severall Forts by this Board this day agreed on, and
that he be requested and required from this Board so to do
Ordered also that the Neighbouring Govermts of New York
& Virginia be also made acquainted with the foregoing Accot
& proceedings of this Board concerning the Foreign Indians
& that his Exclcy the Governor be humbly desired to perform

the same by way of Letter Returns made to this Board from
St Marys Calvert & Cecil Countys of the severall Parishes in
them respectively laid out Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of
this Province in such Case made and Provided (vizt)

At a Court held at Waring Town the 7th day of
February In the Year of our Lord God one Thousand
Six Hundred Ninety and Two and in the 5th Year of
the Reign of our Sovereign Lord and Lady King Wil-
liam & Queen Mary by the Grace of God King and
Queen of England, Scotland France & Ireland De-
fenders of the Faith &ca by the Iustices thereunto
authorised & appointed together with the most Prin-
cipal Freeholders thereunto called for the laying out of
Parishes on the West Side of Pottuxent River in
Calvert County in obedience to an Act of Assembly
Intituled an Act for the Service of Almighty God and
the Establishment of the Protestant Religion in this
Province made at the City of St Marys the 10th day of
May Anno Dom 1692

It is likewise concluded and agreed on by the Iustices above
named & by the Principal Freeholders at the time and place
abovesaid being met together

That Hunting Creeke hundred Leonards Creeke hundred
Eltonhead Hundred and the lower Hundred of the Cliffs be
all in one Parish the Church for the said Parish being already
Built called by the Name of Christ Church standing on one
acre of Land gave by Mr Francis Maiden for the same Intent
and purpose out his tract of Land called by the Name of Pre-
vent Danger
