Thomas Lawrence be admitted to the Exercise of his Office
giving his own personal security in 1000l and that each of the
Clerks do give 100l security for the due performance of their
respective places.
As also the order of the Governor and Councill of Mary-
land of the 17th of August last concerning Chancery Writts be.
and the same are hereby set aside and disallowed and that
the benefit of issuing those Writts do remain to the Secretary
according to the Act of Assembly.
And that the Fees of the Naval Officer do remain as at
present settled by an Act of Assembly according to the said
Report whereof Coll: Copley Governor of their Majesty's
Province of Maryland and the Councill there Sir Thomas
Lawrence and all others whom it may concern are to take
notice and Govern themselves accordingly.

By An Act concerning the Secretary's Fees there was
allowed to the Secretary for the discharge of a ship 50 tob:
For other passes 15.tob;

By An Act concerning additional fees to the Secretary was
allowed to the Secretary
For taking bonds from Masters of Ships 30. tob:
For recording the bond 30. tob:
For certificates and recording 100 tob:
For discharge of a ship & recording 100 tob:
Entry of each servant 1. shilling.
Which Act was to continue for 3. years.
1664.
This Act was revived.
1666.
The said 12d per poll for servants imported &c was re-
pealed.
1676.
The whole Act repealed
And in an Act made the same year concerning the Secre-
tary which are limited by that Act.
No mention is made of any alteration of Fees for shipping
to the Secretary.
