That a true Accot be likewise given to the Lords of the
Treasury of the fees formerly taken by the Secrys of this
Province for Ordinary Licenses and for another pquisit called
Secretarys fees how and by which means they were then
allowed to be taken by the Secrys and now claimed by Sir
Thomas Lawrence, and how since they are now by Act of
Assembly altered and vested in his Excellency the Govr who
employs and maintains proper Officers for that Purpose
Ordered also that a Letter be likewise writ to Mr Peter
Paggen the Countreys agent advising him of the Premises
and all other matters of publick Import
Memd at the same time was produced and read at the
Board this followg Certificate of Record from New Castle
relating also to Mr Randolph (vizt)

These are by the King and Queens Authority, and in the
Proprietors Name to will and require thee Henry Vander-
burgh to be and appear before the Iustices of the Quarter
Sessions to be held at Newcastle the twentieth day of Sep-
tember next as well to answer for withholding one thousand
Pounds Sterl due to their Majestys as to abide the Iudgment
of the said court and hereof fail not at thy Peril Given at
New Castle August 8th 1692
To the high Sheriff of the
County of Newcastle

This is a true Copy of the Originall Summons granted at
the request of Edward Randolph Esqr Surveyor Generall
Exd p Ia Claypoole Cl Concl pr dict
The Originall of the above was Executed by me
George Moor
Depty Sheriff

Received this 8th of August 1692 of Iames Claypoole Depty
Secry a Bond signed and sealed by Matthias de Hart Masr of
the Sloop Unity of New York and Henry Vanderburgh his
Surety of One thousand pounds Sterl to their Majestys upon
condition to Carry his Lading to England Wales or Berwick,
and nowhere else
Dated at New Castle Aprill 24 1691 I say rec'd as above
Edward Randolph Surveyor Generall
New Castle August 8th 1692

I Did then promise to Henry Vanderburgh Mercht to use
my utmost Endeavour to prosecute and get arrested at the
sute of their Majestys Matthias de Hart Masr of the Sloop
