Moved by his Excellency the consideration of maintaining
& continuing out the Rangers on the Frontiers of the Prov-
ince for their pay not hitherto already provided for the same
is referred to the Consideration of the next Assembly which
is to meet in April next and for the suspending or continuing
them still in service it is considered that since the time of
the Year and the present Circumstances of the Province
concurring is such that there appears no great danger or
apprehension of any attempts or incursions of Foreign Indians
and by reason there is as yet no Certain allowance made by the
Assembly for the support and maintainance of such Rangers
it is resolved that they be discontinued and all Called in
Moved by his Excellency the Governr the irregular and dis-
honourble proceedings of Coll Henry Iowles in basely deserting
and declining their Majestys Service in relation to the Com-
mission he bore as one of their Councill accepting and
taking upon him to execute the Office and place of a County
Clerk within this Province whereby he hath effectually dis-
abled himself from serving their Majestys in quality of one of
their Councill
