and condemned for the murthering of her Bastard Child,
though upon very slender and no positive Evidence appearing
against her at the Tryal, is pleased, and Jt is thought fit and
resolved that she be reprieved, and her Execution suspended
until the next Provincial Court
The like Order passed in favour of One John Olton a
Taylor convict and under Sentence of Death for Murder
Ordered that Lewis the Mulatto Convict be safely conveyed
by the Sheriff of St Marys County in whose Custody he now
is into the hands & Possession of Captain Robert Mansell
bound for Barbadoes by him to be sold and disposed of there
to the most Advantage and an Account thereof to be duely
rendered to the said Sheriff together with the Effects, to such
Uses as shall be therein directed and appointed, and Order
accordingly was drawn up and delivered to the Sheriff as
follows Vizt

By his Excellency the Governor and Council
Whereas Lewis Rennals a Convict Prisoner in your Custody
hath received Judgment to suffer Death,but hisExcellency being
willing to shew Mercy to him, Transportation is granted; Jt is
therefore ordered and hereby commanded, that forthwith You
cause the Body of the said Lewis Rennals under your safe
and secure Conduct to be conveyed from your Prison and put
on board the Ship Orion and Ann now rideing in Patuxent
River Robt Mansell Commander in Order to his Transporta-
tion to the Island of Barbadoes or to be delivered to the said
Mansell in any other Port or Place or to his Order to be trans-
ported as aforesaid he the said Robert Mansell giving such
Receipt together with Obligation for the Disposal of the said
Lewis Rennals to the best Advantage he can, and to make
Returns according to such Instructions and Orders as he shall
receive from his Excellency the Governor Given at the
Council Chamber the 11th Day of April in the 4th Year of
their Majesties Reign &c Annoq Domini 1692

The Attorney General pursuant to a former Order of this
Board makes Report and delivers his Opinion to the Board in
the Case of Major Nicholas Sewall, and having considered
and fully consulted the same, and the several Circumstances
thereof saith that he is bailable thereupon Ordered that the
said Major Nicholas Sewall enter into bond of five hundred
Pounds Sterling with two good and sufficient Sureties for his
good Aberance and forth coming to answer &c: when &c:
