Ships may be permitted to sail safely without Breach of
Orders; Whereupon was desired to be perused his Excel-
lencys Instructions in that Point, which being accordingly pro-
duced and read, Jt is from thence concluded and resolved;
that no Ships or Vessels bound for Europe may or ought to
be cleared or permitted to set Sail from hence until the
Arrival of their Majesties Convoy designed hither to conduct
them homewards
The Attorney General pursuant to a former Order of this
Board the 4th Instant makes Report that having perused and
thoroughly considered the Indictment and whole Process
against Lewis a Mulatto Prisoner convict and condemned for
Burglary finds the Charge to be mean, and but for a very
small Matter
Whereupon the Advice and Opinion of this Board in that
matter being demanded, Jt is advised resolved and ordered
that the said Mulatto remain in Custody of the Sheriff of St
Marys County until the first safe convenient Opportunity
shall present for his Transportation, and then to be trans-
ported to some Other of their Majestys Plantations as an
Exile and there to be sold and disposed off to the most
Advantage, and Returns thereof to be made to the said
Sheriff for the Satisfaction and Discharge of the Charges
accruing by his Imprisonment
