Payne late their Majesties Collector for Patuxent District;
Resolved that their Execution be yet further suspended and
deferred, until Major Nicholas Sewall shall be first brought to
his Tryal or Examination, and both represented to their Maj-
esties to know their Pleasure therein
And as to one other Prisoner named Lewis a Mulatto con-
vict for breaking open a House Chest &c and stealing from
thence several Goods &c for which he also lyes under a Sen-
tence of Death, Resolved also that his Execution be at present
suspended and referred to further Consideration, until such
Time as the Attorney General may have throughly perused
and considered the Indictments and other Process against
him, as by this Board he is commanded to do, and make
Report thereof so soon as conveniently may be

The Oaths appointed by Act of Parliament as also that of
a Privy Councillor to their Majesties within this Province were
