New Proclam^a
abo^t Townes.

Whereas their Hon^rs have reced Information
that the Proclam^a published by order of this Board

the 21^st day of Sep^t last hath not been duely published in some
of the Countyes of this Province ordered that new Proclama-
tion issue to require the Justices of the respective County
Courts to pmitt the s^d Procl: & likewise the psent ordered to
be published in such their Courts and also ordered that by the
s^d Procl: to be issued the Inhabitants be quickened to make
due Provision with necessaryes to transport their Tobaccoes to
Townes and that they be informed his Lo^ps intends to be in
the Country the next Fall to see a strict Prosecution of the
Acts for Advancement of Trade & promiting the building of
Townes the which Proclamation issued as foll: viz^t

A Proclamation
Whereas by a Proclamation by us the s^d Dep^tyes Lieu^ts bear-
ing date the 21^st of September last past & passed under the
Great Seal of this Province thereby requireing & enjoyning
all Masters of Shipps that pursuant to an Act of Assembly
intituled a farther Additionall Act to the Act for Advancem^t of
Trade and to the supplementary Act to the same they make
due entry with the Respective Officers for Townes of all To-
baccoes by them Loaden on Board their severall shipps as by
the said Act is required and that the Justices and Comiss^rs of
the severall & respective County Courts make due Provision
of Weights & Scales as in the said Act is likewise required of
them, the which Proclamation as wee are informed in severall

Countyes of this Province hath not been duely published and
proclaimed Wee doe therefore hereby strictly charge &comand
the Justices & Com" of the severall County Courts of this
Province where the said Proclamation hath not been duely
published and the respective Sheriffs of such Countyes to see
or cause the s^d Procla: to be published and proclamed at their
