The Queen's most Excellent Majesty in Councill.
Upon the Report of the Right Honorable the Lords of the
Committee for Trade and Plantations It is this day ordered
by Her Majestie in Councill that the Right Honorable the
Commissioners for executing the Office of Lord High Admirall
of England do give directions for providing Passage for
Colonel Copley to his Government of Maryland and for Sir
Thomas Lawrence Secretary of that Province, together with
their Families, Household-goods and Servants ancj the usuall
victualls for their respective servants in their passage on board
the Convoys.

Memorandm
My Lord President is desired by the Lords of the Com-
mittee of Trade and Plantations to Represent in Councill that
Colonel Lionel Copley appointed by Majesties to be Governor
of Maryland, has humbly prayed that in consideration of his
long attendance and great expence he has been at in relation
to that Government Her Majestie would be pleased to direct
that one moyety of the Duty of Two shillings per Hogshead
of Tobacco arising the last year in Maryland, may be allowed
