cock and George Mason, but George Mason was soe danger-
ously wounded that it is yet doubtful whither he will live or
noe, and my warrant is yett out for Will: Ayleworth and
Brother Wild, and hope I shall suddenly have them in custody.
Their Majties Council having mett in James City the 16th
ditto, have ordered that no collector shall clear any European
Ship or Vessel until the first of March in order to their sailing
to Point Comfort in James River there to make up their Fleet,
but not to sail until the 15th of March, a copy of which order is
sent to Mr Blackiston their Majtie Collector in the Province of
Maryland which I doubt not but will be duly observed which
is all at present from

Upon the death ot Mr Payne
Mr Woodcock & Mr Mason were
secured and a Warrant is out
for Mr Ayleworth etc.
The Council have ordered that

The Lords of His Majesty's most honorable
Privy Council.
Upon reading the annexed Petition of the Right honorable
Charles Lord Baltemore humbly praying that no Commission
may pass unto Lionel Copley Esqre or any other person of the
Government of Maryland, until the Petitioner shall first be
heard at this Board, by his Councell, as to his right; It is this
day ordered in Councill, that the matter of the said Petition be,
and it is hereby appointed to be heard at this Board on Thurs-
day the 5th of February next, when their Majesty's Attorney
General and Sollicitor General are to be present and who are
to have a Copy of the Lord Baltimore's Charter delivered
