And be it further enacted by the authority afores^d th^t all
Rents due to his Lord^spp the Lord Prop^ry of this Province his
Heires & successors all publick Leavie & other Officers fees
due upon Execucon which shall become due and payable from
& after the sd Last day of August in the yeare of o^r Lord One
thousand six hundred Eighty & five shall be brought to the
Ports & places before menconed and secured as other tob-
baccos are Provided that nevertheless the Lord Prop^ry his Col-
lectors & Receivers the Receivers of the Publick Leavy, & the
said Officers & theire Collectors shall allow pay or discompt
unto the s^d pson or psons so bringing or Conveying the same
to the s^d hovses ports & places herein menconed the full sume
of five pounds of tobbacco p hundred for every hundred
pounds of tobbacco so brought & so proportionably for a
greater or lesser quantity. And be it further enacted, by the
authority afores^d th^t what tobbacco the sherriff or any other
Receiver or Receivers shall accept Receive and Collect at the
s^d Towns ports & places herein menconed, which shall grow
due from and after the s^d last day of August in the yeare of o^r
Lord One thousand six hundred Eighty & five for his Lord^spps
Rents publick Leavies, and Officers fees due upon Execucon
the sd sherriffs and Officers shall be allowed onely the sume of
five pounds of tobbacco p hundred for Receiving the same and
so pportionably for a greater or lesser quantity any Lawe
statute or useage to the Contrary thereof in any wise notwith-
standing, pvided the Charge of storeage of such tobbacco as
shall be due as afores^d to the Officers upon Execucon shall be
allowed & discompted to the s^d storekeeper by such Officer to
whom the s^d fees are due and payable.
And be it further enacted by the authority afores^d th^t any
pson or psons that shall build dwell & Inhabitt in any of
the s^d townes ports or places herein before menconed such
pson or psons shall & may Contract for barter buy & pur-
chase any quantity or quantitys of goods or Merchantdizes
whatsoever any Lawe statute or useage to the Contrary not-
withstanding Provided the s^d pson & psons buying the s^d
goods & Merchantdizes shall likewise sell & barter away the
s^d goods and Merchantdizes in the same towne, port or place
where the same weare so bought, or in any other Port or

Towne within this Province And be it further enacted by the
