This howse portacon of Madera
& fyall to trade, but conceive
that whe of peace in their
Respective Cou & supposing Ordinary
Keeps that Drun in this Province as it hath
done, & consequently the or debawched, & so this
howse cannot concurre with thin vote.
Coll Wells & Mr ffrisby with the sd message to the
upp howse
The howse ordered Capt Quigley's petition to be read
together with the Endorsemt thereon wch followeth (vizt)
Upp howse of Assembly October the 24th 1678.
The petr making good such defects in the state howse as the
Members of the Lower howse shall award, and giving good
Security for his pformance this howse doe consent and are
willing, that the Suffie of 20000ls of Tobacco be awarded him
out of the publique Leavy according to his Request and for the
rest of his petition this howse Referrs the same to the Consid-
eracon of the Lower howse.

Then did this howse apointe Majr Mr ffrisby Mr John
Steevens Mr Woolman Mr Adams Mr Homewood to
be a Comittee to veiw the state howse, & to have igley's
petition, and Considder effectually whether the sa
med Exactly according to the Act & make their Report
to writing, also to see where their may be Partitions
or Ch according to the Governor & Councells desire
and that they make to this howse on Munday morning
next
Thomas Bland app Clerke to the sd Comittee.
Came the Chancelor from the upp howse with this pap
Upp howse of Assembly Octobr the 26th 1678.
