        James Walker, Rich: Browne, Rich: Banks, Jno Shirtliffe,

       Elias Beach, George Akerick, & Walter Peake were fyned

       100 l Tob a peice for not appearing.

      

        Vppon the demand of Ralph Beane plf uers Joseph Edlow

       deft for 1143 l Tob & cask. The deft alleageth tht he payd

       350 l this yeare & acknowledgeth the rest due. Viz 7931 &

       denyeth the dammage. & the plf auerring uppon in open Court

       That bee is damnifyed for non paymt this yeare of this Tob. &

       of all others his Credrs 25 l Tob. in euery cent. & the Court

       fownd the plf 793 l Tob. & cask, & 25 l dammage in euery

       cent.

        Vppon the demand of Ralph Beane plf uers. Robt Wiseman

       deft for 637 l Tob. & cask the deft acknowledgeth the demand

        25' dammage in euery cent Ut Supra.

      

        Vppon the demand of Ralph Beane plf uers Jno Warren

       deft for 509 l Tob & cask. The deft acknowledgeth the demand

       wth 251 dammage in cent.

      

        Vppon the demand of Henry Morgan (pr Attorn George

       Manners) plf, uers Mrs Margarett Brent deft, the Attorney of

       Capt Giles Brent deft for 1000 l Tob. & cask. The deft

       alleageth tht shee was not lawfully Summoned 3 dayes afore

       the Court, according to the custome of this Court & therfore

       desyreth respite till next Court to answere to the sd demand.

       Wch was Graunted. And further ingageth her selfe to answere

       to all demands aliready entred agst her Brother Capt Giles

       Brent wthout the unnecessary charge of Attatchmts

      

        Vppon the demand of Phillip Land plf uers Mrs Margarett

       Brent deft for 301 l Tob. & cask. Respited till next Court.

      

        It is ordered tht the cause depending betwixt Mrs Margarett

       Brent plf & Edward Commins deft be respited till next Court

       in June.

      

        Vppon the demand of George Manners plf uers. Mrs Mar

       garett Brent deft for 700 l Tob. & cask for Roanoke & Peake.

       The deft alleageth tht there is not soe much dew to him uppon

       tht demand. The plf not hauing his euidence ready in Court

       to make proofe thereof. Desyreth Respite till next Court. wch
