                  478    Court and Testamentary Business, 1648—9.

            

            Liber A. March 13th John Warren demandeth of Jno Thimbleby &

                  Willm Browne Tob. & cask & dammage 25 l in cent, for

                  dammage of non paymt Wch Summe was recouered by

                  order of Court

                    wart ret. June Court.

            

                    Phillip Land demandeth of Mrs Margarett Brent 301 l Tob &

                  cask dew for Sheriffs ffees, 208 l & other assigmts 093 l

            

                    George Manners demandeth out of the Estate of Tho: Allen

                  deceased 500 l Tob & Cask for his Coroners ffee, & other

                  Debts.

                    Summons ret June Court

            

                    Cuth:   ffenwick Gent demandeth out of the estate of Tho:

                  Allen deceased 250 l Tob. & cask dew uppon acct

                    wart ret. Ut Supra.

            

                    Robt Smith, walter waterlin, & Walter Beane demand out of

                  the Estate of Thomas Allen 360 l & cask for their time spent &

                  costs, in their praysing the estate of the sd Thomas Allen

                  More demanded out of the Estate ret in their hands out of

                  the Estate praysed 10 l per cent.

            

            

             242 The Depn of Henry Morgan aged 33 yeares &c.

                    That sometime in Octobr last Mrs Cox sent for him to her

                  howse, shee being dangerously sick, hee heard her say, tht the

                  Calfe tht caused her husbands hand to bee cutt, Mrs Bradnoxs

                  should haue it, as her husbands will was. before wch bee gaue

                  it to the sd Mr Bradnox before & tht shee would prforme his

                  will & further shee deposeth not.     Sig

                    The Depn of Phillip Audrey taken 23th Nouembr 1647.

                    This Dept sayth tht in the last sicknes of Mrs Cox lately de

                  ceased bee being prnt shee gaue an yeareling heighfer to Mrs

                  Bradnox for the care & paynes shee had taken in their sicknes

                  about her, & her child: wch shee appoynted to bee out of her

                  owne stock of cattle & further hee deposeth not.

                    The Dept of Phillip Conner aged 32 yeares &c:

                    That about the time tht Mr Cox went downe to St Maries

                  bee heard the Cox say That hee gaue Mrs Bradnox the calfe

                  wch caused him to cutt his hand & &c:

                                                 Phillip Conner.
