       George Manners att the rate of Three hundd pownds of Tob: Liber A.

       & cask. Wch is deliuered by me into the possn of the sd Tho;

       Greene Esqr

         Decembr 3r Thomas Gerrard Esqr Attorney & Admistrator

       of Henry Brookes mercht demandeth of Capt Robt Vaughan

       twenty thowsand pownds of Tob: for goods receiued of the sd

       Henry, under his owne hand.

         Summons to Capt Vaughan to be att the Court att St Maries

       po Martis vppon perill of iudgmt

      

         John Hatch att the request of Jno Thimbleby sayth vppon p. 108

       his oath to the best of his remembrance. That when Capt Hill

       was going downe to Virginia & the sd Jno Thimbleby was

       likewise going along wth him, this Dept being the Sheriffe,

       demanded of the sd Thimbleby the Leuy wch was due to Gour

       Calvert. Whereuppon the sd Jno Thimbleby assigd on Jno

       Medly the foresd Leuy wch the sd Medly denying to pay, saying

       tht the sd Jno Thimbleby had nothing there due to him. Where

       uppon Capt Hill told this Dept that soe much should be

       deducted out of this Leuy. as should satisfy the sd Gour &

       thereuppon he was permitted to goe along wth the sd Capt Hill.

       and further he sayth not.

         Edward Hudson demandeth of Willm Steuenson three hundd

       fifty pownds of Tob: & cask due uppon acct

         Attachmt to the Sheriffe ret. 3d Jan.

         Subpena to the sheriffe Jno Willaine & Hen: Clay to testify.

      

         Cuth: ffenwick Gent. att the request of Tho: Gerrard Esqr

       sayth uppon his oath. That being ffore-man of the Jury in a

       cause depending betweene the sd Tho: Gerrard Esqr & Mrs

       Marg: Brent he did not know, nor saw that any Tob: was

       assigned under Mr Caluert's hand to any one att tht prnt. But

       prsently after the Court he saw an assigmt of 2000 l Tob: assigd

       to Edw: Packer to wch assigmt there was Gou Caluerts name.

         These presents doe testify tht I Leon: Calvert Esqr doe

       assigne & make ouer all my right, tytle & interest, in two

       thowsand pownd weight of good merchble leafe Tob: & cask.

       Remayning due vnto mee from Mr Tho: Gerrard of St Clemts
