It was Comanded the Sherrife of St
Maries County That Whereas at a Proall. Crt holden here the 9th day of ffebruary
in the 27th yeare of the dominion of
Caecilius &c. in a suite depending between the Plaintife &
defendt the sd Plaintife recovered agt the defendt Judgmt for
the Sume of 2000ls sterling & for tht Execucon had not there-
upon Issued tht by good & Lawfull men of his Bayliwick he
make knowne to the sd Jo. Bailey th? he be & appeare here
this day to Shew Cause if anie he could why Execucon should
not issue forth agt him
At wch day to wit the Eighteenth day of Aprill in the 42th yeare of the Dominion of Caecilius &c. Came the sd Sherrife
& Retornes to the Court here tht he hath made knowne unto
the sd Jo. Bailey as the Writ Requires him in the Presence of
Jo. Warreck Charles Delaroche & Peter Delaroch & the sd Jo.
Bailey came Likewise
And the sd Jo. Bailey Shewing noe sufficient Cause to the
Crt here It is Comanded the same Sherrife tht he take the sd Jo. Bailey &c. & him safe in his Custodie keep soe tht he Have
his Body here the Twelfth day of May next to Satisfie the sd
Reymond the Judgmt aforesdd At wch sd 12th day of May the same Sherrife Retornes the
writ aforesd & Saith tht he hath taken the sd Jo. Bailey whose
Bodie he hath at the day and place as the writ Requires
Uppon the Peticon of Jo. Bailey tht in ffebruary Crt 1668 he
had Judgment agt him at the suite of Reymond Stapleford for
100ls Sterling & through the mistake of the then Clerke the
Judgmt was Entered for noe Certaine summe to be Received
agt wch Judgmt the Peticont preferred his bill in Chancery to
wch the sd Stapleford Answrs upon Oath & therein ownes the sd Judgmt to be but for One hundred Pounds Sterling & in De-
cember Crt 1670 the Peticonr then Complt & the defendt being
upon Arbitracon their Attorneys let the sd Cause in Chancery
be discontinued since wch the sd Stapleford falsely informing
his Excelency tht the sd Judgmt was for Two Thousand Pounds
Sterling Procured ordr for a Scire facias agt the Peticonr to
shew Cause why Execucon should not issue for 2000ls Sterling
