Mr Speaker ordered Mr Willm Coursey to present this howses
Concurrance wth the Vpper howses Vote, touching the Petn of
Willm Smyth wch was againe remanded.
Col Willm Euans came from the Vpper howse & presented
An Act Concerning Passes, for this howses Vote. And An
Act for Runawayes.

before the Leiut Grall & Councell.
Vote remaine as formerly, according to their Corn-

The howse adiorned by the Speaker 'till 1 a Clock
after noone.

Saturday 1 a Clock afternoone

The howse called: All prsent (Except My Rich: Preston as
afore)
Ordered tht Mr Willm Coursey present to the Vpper howse
the heads of of those Lawes, wch this howse iudge necessary
should bee repealed, as allsoe the heads of all those other
Temporary Lawes meete to bee reuyved.
Coll Willm Euans came & prsented two Petns (Vizt) the Petn
of Henry Adams sheriffe of Charles County, & the Petn of
John Miller.
Was read the Petn of Henry Adams demanding ffees for
imprisonmt of Hannah Price, & Mary Marler, amounting to
the sume of 5715l Tob. And likewise for Conueying Indian
Prisoners downe to St Maries amounting to 1875! Tob. in all
7590! Tob.
This howse doe Judge tht the first sume (Vizt) 5715 Tob,
bee payd by the Inhabitants of Charles County. The Lawes
of this Province now in force having sufficiently provided, as

to the payment of ffees due from Criminalls in such Cases.
As to the Latt Tob. the Law made Ano 1662 doe pro-
uide take order where the sheriffe may rep ffee in
that Case.
