Clark, Counsel was instructed to prosecute 'Jlarence r:obinson, of .lickory, Md., and John ?eterson, of Jorest Hill, lid., for violating the traction engine la\v on the Bolair-St. Augustine ?.o;:.d in Harford County (Contract #0175). Minutes of meeting approved, jiquidated<3fcpago8 on Contract #0170 - J. ".if. Silver & Co. Claim for premium in bond on Contract f0186-3.P.Lindsay. The regular semi-monthly meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at its offices in the Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, this Thursday, February 16th, 1912, at 10:30 A. M. Present: Chairman Tuoker, Dr. Ronsen, Dr. Clark, Messrs. Shoemaker, Hutton and Lloyd. The minutes of the previous meeting of the Commission were, on motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Dr. Hemsen, approved. Mr. J. W. Spencer addressed the Board relative to a deduction of $700. as liquidated damages on Contract #0170 in Harford County, (Churohville-Aberdeen Road) J. &• Silver & Co., contractors, requesting the Commission to reconsider the action taken at its previous meeting. On motion of Dr. Remsen, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, the Engineer's report, together with other available data regarding this matter, was referred to the Counsel of the Board, with the request that he report on same. Mr. Button moved that the difference between amount of premium on bond as originally given for Contract #0186, 8* P. Lindsay, contractor, and amount due on contract as shortened by order of the Commission, amounting to $876., be paid Mr* Lindsay* The motion was seconded by Dr, Olark, and adopted* |
