Lloyd, to advertise for bids on the Nanticoke Bridge, as soon as specifications for this work are completed. A communication from the Halethorpe Protective and Improve lent Association, under date of May 26th, 1911, relative to the improvement of the .Vashington Pike, was read to the Board, and the Secretary was requested to communicate with the Association to the effect that it is impossible for the State rtoads Commission to give any information with reference to the Washington Hoad that would be at all definite at this time, on account of the necessity of providing for an overhead crossing for the Baltimore & Potomc Railroad, which it will take some time to negotiate, and that the plans which the Commission now has are simply tentative and would not be safe or reliable. The Texas Company under date of I-lay 17th, 1911, submitted a proposition for repairing Park Heights Avenue between Station 0 - 350 to 37 - 50, and from Station 44 - 76 to 49 -42, stating that said Company will take care of all ercpenses in connection vrith such repair, provided it is reimbursed for all expenses over and above the cost of the crushed stone on the road, and the new asphalt used in the repairs, as soon as money for th's purpose bocones available. "Pr. Remsen moved that the proposition of the Texas Company as >tated, be accepted, provided the work is done under the supervision of the Commission, subject to the approval of the Chief Engineer. The mation was seconded "by l.Ir. Shoemaker, and adopted. A petition signed by the members of a committee from Baltimore County, renuesting a survey made of the Baltimore & Liberty Turnpike beginning at Buck's Lane and continuing to the Old Court Road, was read to the Commission, and on motion of IJr. Shoemaker, seconded by Governor Crothers, the Secretary was requested to notify said Committee that a survey between the points named will be made as soon as possible, but that there are no funds available to do further work on the road at this time. On motion of Mr. Button, seconded by Ilr. Shoemaker, the question of an approach to the property of 2£r. Theo. L. Borst at Gardenville on the west side of the Belair Hoad above Harris Avenue, was referred to the Chairman and Counsel, with power. l.Ir. Shoemaker moved that the salary of A. S. Wilson (clerk), be increased from $75.00 to $100.00 per month, and
