notified that the State Roads Commit ion approves of the award of this contract to Mr. J H. Frederick at the amount of his bid, as recornmended by said County ComnisGionors. The motion was seconded by Dr. Hemsen, and adopted.
T.'r. Rernsen moved, in view of the apparent existing en.er-gency in the supply of paving brick, and the necessity for tlie prompt completion of contracts, that such contractors ;.s are objecting to the enfoz-cenent of the variation test provided in the specifications of the State Roads Commission, be notified that in consideration of their agreeing that the average test for "brick to be supplied shall be raised to 20, the variation test will be r/aived in the contracts now in existence and uncompleted, upon notice in writing to the Chief 3ngineer of the Commission that this proposition of the State Roads Commission is accepted. The motion, was seconded by I.Ir. Huttou, and adopted.
