Page 269. Execution of deed from Balto. & Fredktwn.Rd.Oo, BillB of Peima.Steel Go, ordered paid. Motion to adjourn. Adjournment. A deed, dated •necemher 21st, 1910, from the president, Managers and Company of the Baltimore and Tedericktown Turnpike Poad, conveying all the right, title, interest and estate of said Company in the Baltimore and Tederickto\m Turnpike Road from ^entalou street in Baltimora City to Boonsborough in Washington County to the State Roads CoranisBion, was presented to the Board for execution. "-overncr Crothers moved that this deed "be accepted ard the above-named Company paid the consideration naned therein, viz: One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($-100,000.00). The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton and adopted. On motion of frovernor Crothers, seconded by Yr. Hutton, the following bills of the Pennsylvania Steel Conpany were ordered paid: 1910 October 5th, ................ £ 9317.49 " " 6942.03 " 6th ................. 6754.04 7th 685.60 19th ................. 759.50 " 21st 164.50 On motion of Mr. Hutton, seconded by ^r. The regular Semi-monthly masting of the State Roads Commission was held at ite offices, Union Trust Building Baltimore, ^d., this Thursday, January 5th, 1911, at 10:30 A. If. Present: Qovernor Crothers, Chairman Tucker, T>r. Pamsen, Dr. Clark and ?/tessrs. Shoemaker and Hutton. The minutes of the previous meetings of the Commission, December 17th and 21st, 1910, were read and approved. The purchase of the Belair Turnpike in Harford County from Belair to Winters' Run, including bridge, comprising about 2-3/4 miles, was brought to the attention of the Board, and it. was ao-reed that if the Chairman can purchase this portion of the Belair Pike at a price not exceeding #3,000. his action will be ratified. |
