Ad journi..ent, A Special Meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, ?Ad., this Saturday, December 17th, 1910, at 11:30 o'clock A. ?/. present- ^ov^rnor Crothers, Chairman Tucker, T)r. Pemsen and I'r. Shoemaker. The reading of the minutes was dispensed with. On motion of Governor Crothers, seconded by Yr. Shoemaker, ths following offer was made the Ila-Terstown ft ronococheafnie Turnpike Company: "We hereby offer you Twenty-two Thousand yive Hundred "Hollars "($23,500.00) for all your rirht, title, interest and estate in and "to the bed of the Haf^rstovn and Conococheague Turnpike, extending "from Hafrarstowi to the ^est side of the Conococheague Bridge, same "to be free from incuinbrances and liens, you reserving the two toll "gate houses and land appurtenant thereto, subject, however, to the "express condition that neither of said reservations shall interfere "in any mannar or extent with thj full and absolute control of the "State Roads Commission of the whole of the road-bed and ricrht-of-"way of said Turnpike poad, and that if the two toll gate houses "above mentioned are within the bed of the Turnpike or the rip-ht-"of-way over said Turnpike, they shall be removed by you on or "bofore the first day of May, 1911." On motion, duly seconded and adopted, the rommission adjourned. Attest r Secretary. Baltimore, ?rd., December 21st, 1910. Forty-second Meeting. Present. Minutes not read.
