ReJA Page 270. Warrant on Gonwtroller of Treasury. City Officials to state progress made regarding purchase of ueisterstovm -ike. Governor Crothers moved that the Chairman "he authorized to draw his warrant on the Comptroller of the Treasury in the sum of $251,293.50, to be paid out of the Highways Loan "Pund, in accordance with Chapter 116 of the Acts of 1910. The motion was seconded by T'r. Shoemaker, and adopted. The purchase of the Reisterstown Turnpike was discussed by the Board, and it was decided that inasmuch as the "Baltimore City Officials had been in communication with the Comnission regarding this matter, that the Chairman "be instructed to write the City Officials asking what progress they have made in connection therewith. On motion of Governor Crothsrs, seconded "by T'r. Futton, Contracts #0173 and #0174 in Harford County, wars awarded Messrs. Spancar and ^c .Hight-of-wa.;-,7 on Palls -;oad from ivit.Vernon Cotton Imck Jo. c.r^igcE to property to Hoyor on Uaehington Road. Contracts 0173-0174 avrarded bponcer & ?orsythe. \ The qusstion of ripht-cf-way on the ^alls Hoad at Vt. Washington from the -'t. Vernon Cotton T)uck Company was brought to the attention of the Commission, and on motion of Dr. Remsen, seconded by Governor Crothers, the matter wae referred to a Com-mittae consisting of the Chairman, Counsel and Chief "Engineer, with po'.rer to act. Counsel to th'3 COTrmission stated that suit had been entarad against the rnom"b3rs of the commission individually, by a Krs. Hoyer for damar-es to her property on the Washington Road. Dr. Clark moved that this matter "he referred to the Chairman, counsel and Chief "Engineer with power to act. The motion was seconded "by Dr. H^msen, and adopted. On motion of Governor Crothers, seconded "by ^r. psmsen, it was ordered that the two rollers and crushing plant now chargeable to the Washington Road Account, "be turned over to the State Roads Commission, and State Road #1 credited with the purchase price. Counsel to tho Commission brought lo the attention of the Board a suit entered against the Commission by the Tr. A. Talbott Company for claim of $3,073.29 due on account of work don« on State Hoad "Mo. 1. Governor Crothers moved that this claim be paid said Company, including all court costs in connection therewith. The motion was seconded by Dr. dark, and adopted. On motion of Governor Crothers, seconded by T/r. Shoe- Question relative to claim of maker., it was a^raed that all other questions which may arise Talbott ^o. referred to Chairman regarding the claim of the M. A.
