Rerasan, secondad by Governor Crothers, it was orderad that these accounts ba paid as approved by the Auditing Coomittaa. The County CommiSBionsrs of Montgomery rounty submitted for payment a bill for road grader, amounting to &22&.00, pur-chasad for usa on Contract #0231. Governor crothsrs movod that this bill ba paid, and the County Commissioners of Montgomery County notified that hsraafter no bills will he paid, unless purchases ar.a authorized by the Commission, this being the rule of the "Board throughout the entire State. The motion was seconded "by 7)r. Clark, and adopted. Governor CrotVars moved that payments of $3393.13 on Section A (Contract #168) and $5207.09 on Section B, (Contract #166) on the Falls Road be certified to the Comptroller for final payment. The motion was seconded by Dr. Clark, and adopted. Tv.'o "bills on Contract #0210, in Washington County, amounting to $3.75, for rubber "boots, and $72.70 for automobile hire, ware presented to the Board for payment. It was agreed that the charr-e of $3.75 ba not allowed, and that }/r. K. p. Cohill be communicated with, requesting an explanation of the charge of $72.70. A communication from the Maryland Transportation Company, relative to a charge of $850.35 to the County CoramiBsioners of Carolina County for demurrage was read to the "Board, and on motion of GovBrnor brothers, duly seconded and adopted, this matter iwas referred to the County Commissioners of Caroline County, for explanation as to why this bill was incurred. On notion of Governor brothers, seconded by rtr, Remsen, the Chairman of the Commission was instructed to offer the Conowingo "Bridge Company $65,000.00 for the Conowingo "Bridge, this being the amount stated in section 32-P, Chapter 116 of the Acts of 1910. Two bills of the Pennsylvania Steel Company amounting to $24623.16 for October and $4355.85 for November, account of rails for use on the Liberty, Harford and Falls Roads were presented for payment. Dr. Remsen moved that these bills be referred to the Auditing Committee for payment, with the understanding that the Commission shall have a report from the Chiaf Tlngineer as to the amount of rail delivered on the work, and a report from Mr. J. M. Hood, Jr., as to the amount in the Columbia Avenue yards. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted*
