The Chiaf ^ngireer stated that owing to the increased work in Baltimore City the brick rattler owned by the commission would not "be sufficient to test all the bricks required on this work. J.'r. shoemaker moved that the Chief -"ngineer be authorized to make arrangements with the City Authorities for the testing of "brick for use on its work. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted. Mr. croeby etated to th-3 "Board that the United Railways & Electric Company were apparently ignorir.g and violating certain details of thair agreement with the State p.oads Commission on the roads taken over "by the Commission on which the company has tracks, and on the :Falls Road, near Mt. Washington the grades of their tracks had been changed without any authority from the ^ommiesion, and that certain chanp-es had "been made in the bridge over Herring Run on the "Belair P.oad -.vithout the approval of the Commission. On motion of -*r. R-amssn, seconded by *>r. Clark, these matters v/are referred to ?'r. Shoemaker, with the request that he confer with T?r. Piirst on this subject. The motion was duly carried. The matter of providing a sewer for the drainage on Contract #0254 (Garrison Avenue and Tiber ty Heights Ave.) was discussed by the Board, ^r. Clark moved that the sewerage Commission be requested to install this sewer as promptly as possible, so that the v/ork of the stats Roads commission can go forward ; the first cost to "be paid by the state Roads Commission, reimbursement for the amount in excess of Three Thousand "Dollars to be made by the Sewerage Commission when the new Seweran« T.oan is authorized. The motion was seconded "by v*r. shoemaker, and adopted. Dr. Clark moved that 1Tr. J. Alonzo Reynolds be employed i as bookkeeper to the Commission at a salary of $1800.00 per year. The motion was seconded by T'r. Hutton, and adopted. "Hr. "lark moved that all "bills this day approved by the Auditing Committee, be paid. The motion was seconded by TT. Ramsen, and adopted.
