Talbott Company, Contractors, be notified that they ara under penalty for $140., as liquidated damages, because of the non-completion of their work within the date named in the contract, but in view of the fact that funds were previously hald up on this work, we ar<* enclosing check for Final Estimate in full, as an off-set^ The motion was seconded by Governor Crothers, and adopted. The Chairman read a communication from Assistant "Engineer Uhl-^r, stating than an engine owned by Tr. ^enjamin Reese of near Forest Kill, had "bean run over the ^crest Kill-St. Ignatius church Road, Contract ^0171, on Thursday, TTovem"ber 10th, 1910. 7!r. Shoemaker moved that the matter be referred "to the State's Attorney of Harford county, with request that he prosecute and the full penalty of the law be enforced. The motion was seconded by Hr. Hutton, and adopted. On motion of Governor Crothars, seconded by ""r. Hutton, Chairman Tucker, was authorized to sipn a letter, as requested by the United Railways Company, notifying said Railways company to proceed with their work on the Purford Road, in conformity with agreement. The motion was duly carried. On motion of "Dr. Clark, seconded by Trr. Shoemaker, the Chairman was authorized to file plans and take over a section of State Aid Road in Washington County, about two miles west of Conococheague to St. Paul's Church. The motion was adopted. ThJ action of the Chief Engineer in employing ~°>. H. Hamburger and 3. c. ^ennett as stenographers, was, on motion duly seconded and carried, approved. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the assignment of estimates becoming due of T5. ward ^rown, Contractor, to the Trussed Concrete Steel Company and the Tiational Bank of Port -neposit, on Contract y/0172 in Harford County, be accepted. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted. The Chairman read a communication from the Chief Engineer under dat^ of November llth, 1210, containing the following recommendations as to the Lib-arty, ^restport, "Ralair and Harford Roads: First, that such macadam as is partly completed, but unpitched, be finished up as promptly and as far as possible as water bound macadam. Second, that the further disturbance of the old road surface, beyond what is already torn up, be prohibited, until the opening of the next working season in 1911.
