Mr. shoemaker moved that the supi'^stion of "r. trood ba adopted, as to the difference in tha accounts for work dona "by said Railways Company during August and September, to the effect that said difference ba squally divided between the nnitad Railways t Electric Company and tha State Roads Commission. The notion was seconded by ^r. Clark and adopted. Chairman Tucker stated that by a recant decision of the Treasurer's Dapartment tharo was a balance in tha treasury to tha credit of tha State Aid T^oads of $15,435.35 '.vhich is now available for tha use of tha State Roads Commission. It was su/^asted that Lyons "Brothers be communicated '.vith to tha effect that settlement on this work must be mada '.vith the County Commissioners, since the State Roads Commission has no power in the matter, and that tha question of borrow will be looked into and the County Commissioners advisad as to our en^inaerin^ department's opinion in tha mati.ar. Mr. Wm. ^. pyan, a resident on tha Falls poad, requested Placing- of curb on property tha Commission to place a curb at the corner of the ^alls Poad and of Wm. P. Pyan, Palla Rd . Thirty-sixth Street, in order to take care of the surface water at & Thirty-sixth St. this point. ?Ir. Shoemaker moved that the request of "r. TCyan ba rrantsd, and the pieca of curb put in on his property. Tha motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted.
