Rc.JA Page 69. Survey of Baltimore & Frederick town Turnpike. Turr.pikea in Kontgomery Co, Ilotion to adjourn, \ Mr. Clark moved that the Engineer be instructed to make a survey of that portion of the Baltimore & Fredericktown Turnpike lying within the limits of Baltimore County. The motion v/as seconded by Governor Crothere and adopted. Dr. Clark moved that the Counsel prepare a communication to the County Comraisfcioners of Montgomery County regarding the turnpikes in said County, ir. conformity with the action of the Commission. Governor Crothers seconded the motion, which was adopted. On notion of Dr. Clark, seconded "by Governor Crothers, the Coironisijion adjourned to meet Friday, May 14th. 1909, at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimo-e, Maryland, at eleven o'clock A.M. Letter of Counsel regarding Roads and Pikes in Montgomery County. Presentation of bills. The special meeting of the Cor.ir.iission v/as was to have been held Friday, Llay 15th. 1909, was postponed to Thursday, May 20th. 1909, and on this day (May 20th.l90cJ) the regular M-monthly meetin/- of the Commission was held at its offices, Union Trust Building,Baltimore, Maryland, at 11 o'clock A.M. Present: Governor Crothers, Chairman Tucker, Messrs. Rem-sen, Hutton, Clark and Shoemaker. The minutes of the previous meeting of the Commission were read, corrected and approved. The Chairman read a letter prepared by the Counsel of the Commission addressed to the County Commissioners of Montgomery County, regarding the roads and pikes in said County, and the Secretary was instructed to see that the letter was forwarded. The Chairman presented certain bills for gas, water, ice, advertising for sealed proposals, engineering expenses, mileage,
