(E) Worcester County Jail. Provide a grant to the County
Commissioners of Worcester County to assist in designing the
expansion and renovation of the Worcester County Jail, subject
to the requirement that the grantee provide an equal and
matching fund for this purpose. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of
this Act, the matching fund may include funds expended prior
to the effective date of this Act, provided that no funds may be
expended on this project until:

(1)    the Part I program plan has been approved by the
Department of Budget and Management; and

(2)    the budget committees have been notified in writing of the

ZC01                           MARYLAND HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION

(A)    Franklin Square Hospital. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of
(i) $209,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Directors of Franklin Square Hospital Center, Inc.
for the planning, design, renovation, expansion, repair,
construction, and capital equipping of the emergency
department including emergent, urgent, and acute care of
pediatric patients, located in Baltimore. Notwithstanding
Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may consist of funds
expended prior to the effective date of this Act (Baltimore
County)............................................................................................

(B)     Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $535,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of Greater Baltimore
Medical Center, Inc. for the planning, design, renovation,
expansion, merger, repair, construction, and capital equipping
of the Hyperbaric Center and Wound Care Center, located in
Baltimore. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Baltimore County)...............................

(C)    Holy Cross Health. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$1,522,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Directors of Holy Cross Health, Inc. for the
planning, design, renovation, expansion, repair, construction,
and capital equipping of existing space to expand and improve
the labor and delivery and neonatal intensive care areas,
located in Silver Spring. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this
Act, the matching fund may consist of funds expended prior to
