112. State of Maryland Be it remembered that the following Bond Ex.d from 50 was recorded on the 14.th day of June 1848. K. M. Jacobs & {Stamp} Know all men by these presents that we William Rea {50 cts} Kendal M. Jacobs and William Rea of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland, are held and firmly bound unto the state of Maryland in the full and just sum of seven hundred and thirty four dollars & sixty six cents, current money of the United States, to be paid to the said State or its certain Attorney. To which payment well and truly to be made & done, we bind ourselves and each of us, our and each of our heirs, executors and Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this fourteenth day of June in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty eight. The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden Kendal M. Jacobs, appointed Collector of Dorchester County, shall faithfully Collect and pay the sum of three hundred & sixty seven dollars and thirty three Cents, current money of the United States, into the Treasury of the State of Maryland, on or before the first day of July in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred & forty nine, to and for the use of the State, then the above Obligation to be void, or else to be and remain in full force & virtue in law. Hicks, of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland, in the full and just sum of Thirty one thousand five hundred and sixty two dollars and ninety four cents, current money of the United States, to be paid to the said State or its certain Attorney To the which payment well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves and each of us, our and each of our heirs, executors and Administrators, jointly and severally, firmly buy these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this fourteenth day of June in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty eight. The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bounden Kendal M.
