filled by a person residing in that district. Any reference to the Democratic central
committee for Montgomery County or any portion thereof means the entire membership
of the Montgomery County Democratic central committee, and in no event do the
members of the central committee 'elected from a district comprise a separate central
committee.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1994.

FOR the purpose of creating a special off-sale alcoholic beverages privilege for caterers
who hold a certain alcoholic beverages license in Montgomery County; providing for
the license; and generally relating to caterers' licenses in that county.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

24-1.

(A) THIS SECTION APPLIES ONLY IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY.

(B)      THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS MAY ISSUE A CATERER'S
LICENSE TO A HOLDER OF A CLASS B RESTAURANT OR HOTEL (ON-SALE) BEER,

WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSE.

(C)     A CATERER'S LICENSE ISSUED UNDER THIS SECTION AUTHORIZES THE
HOLDER TO PROVIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT EVENTS THAT ARE HELD OFF
THE CLASS B RESTAURANT OR HOTEL (ON-SALE) BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSE
PREMISES.
