Westminster. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Carroll County).................................... 150,000
(AR) Friendship School. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$150,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Directors of the Friendship School, Inc. for the
acquisition, construction, and capital equipping of a new facility
to be used by the Friendship School, Inc. and the Margaret Byrd
Rawson Institute, Inc. as a school for both children with
language disabilities and teachers that are trained to work with
children with language disabilities, located in Eldersburg.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may consist of real property or funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Carroll County).................................... 150,000
(AS) Ray of Hope Mission Center. Provide a grant of $100,000 to the
Board of Directors of the Ray of Hope Mission Center, Inc. for
the planning, design, construction, and capital equipping of the
new senior activity center and food pantry building, and the
acquisition and capital equipping of a mobile soup kitchen for
the Ray of Hope Mission Center, located in Port Deposit, subject
to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a
matching fund of $31,000 (Cecil County)...................................... 100,000
(AT) Bel Alton High School Community Development Center-
Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i) $450,000 or (ii) the
amount of the matching fund provided, to the Board of Directors
of the Bel Alton High School Alumni Association Community
Development Corporation for the construction, repair,
renovation, reconstruction, and capital equipping of a
community development center at the Bel Alton High School,
located in La Plata, subject to a requirement that the grantee
grant and convey a historic easement to the Maryland
Historical Trust. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Charles County)................................... 450,000
(AU) Dorchester County Family YMCA. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $50,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of the Dorchester County
Family YMCA, Inc. for the planning, design, construction,
repair, renovation, reconstruction, expansion, and capital
equipping of the Dorchester County Family YMCA, located in
Cambridge. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may consist of real property, in kind
contributions, or funds expended prior to the effective date of
this Act (Dorchester County)......................................................... 50,000
(AV) Alan P. Linton, Jr. Emergency Shelter Site. Provide a grant
